FREQUENTLY Asked Questions

What if I am already registered

  • We will be sending out a form and to find out how to best process refunds for each person.  If you decided this will not work for your youth, please feel free to request a full refund at  https://www.bsacac.org/refund-policy/

How much help will my youth need from me?

  • You will still need to check in on your youth and make sure they are participating and staying safe, but our teachers should be keeping the participants busy.  Even during the breaks, we will have a staff member leading activities, games, jokes, etc.
  • During lunch, we will be showing a STEAM video and then have virtual playtime in various breakout rooms.  We believe strongly that the participants need to have some time to play/talk with each other in a supervised format.

What about supplies?

  • We are working with our instructors and getting supply list.  Participants will have to provide their own computer, internet and webcam.   For photography, participants will need to have a camera, but any camera works.  Beyond that we will pulling together supplies boxes that can be either mailed or picked up from the Fickett Center/Scout Shop.

What to Wear to Camp Everyday

  • Camp t-shirt
  • Please do wear regular pants or shorts - we can see everyone during activities.

Our camp believes that STEAM should  be available to all youth, now no matter where the area. We are working to provide assistance for anyone who needs help in attending our camp. The number of scholarships we can provide depends on grants and donations.   However, anyone attending camp must have access to a computer and internet.
