Campership Information and Application

HOW THIS PROGRAM WORKS:

Camping during the summer can help youth academically, physically and emotionally, and one of the methods of delivering the Scouting Program.  The Capitol Area Council wants to make sure every youth has an opportunity to have a mountain top experience at camp.   

FOR THE 2025 CAMP SEASON, TECHLAB HAS ONLY LIMITED CAMPERSHIPS AVAILABLE.

CAMPERSHIP AMOUNT

• Camperships will only cover a part of the cost of camp.  
• The standard campership will cover up to 50% of the cost of the camp.

WHAT IS NEEDED 

• Complete the form below, including a short statement from the youth that tells why attending this camp will be important to them.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS AFTER A CAMPERSHIP HAS BEEN SUBMITTED?

• Once camp staff have verified funds are available for camperships, campership request will be reviewed weekly by TECHLAB Staff.   No information will be shared with any other sources outside of TECHLAB Staff.    
• Most campership applicants should hear something within a week turning in their application.
• If we have questions about your application, we will email you. 
• Once you have been approved for a campership, you will be emailed a DISCOUNT CODE.   You will need to register for the classes you want and then on the confirmation page, enter your DISCOUNT CODE and click apply.  You should see the amount due discounted before you are asked to pay. 

WHAT IS A CAMPERSHIP?

• A campership is a scholarship to attend a camp.
