Our camp believes that STEAM should be available to all youth. We work to provide assistance for anyone who needs help in attending our camp. The number of scholarships we can provide depends on grants and donations.

additional information

Morning Arrival at Camp

Each morning, we will gather in the courtyard next to the main parking lot off Steck Avenue. You must sign your child in with a staff member each morning. We will have staffers at the courtyard gates ready to sign campers in as they arrive. You may utilize the drop off line or you may park and walk your child in. Do NOT leave your child at camp without having signed them in.

Afternoon Pickup from Camp

At 3:30 each day we will again gather in the courtyard to prepare for dismissal. Please park and walk in to get your child. Do NOT take your child from camp without signing them out. We will not allow campers to walk unescorted through the parking lot to your car, not even the 6th through 9th graders.

Late Arrivals or Early Departures

If your child will be arriving late or leaving from camp early, please check them in and sign them out with one of  the camp directors in the appropriate class area. You may need to enter the high school through the front doors, which face Mesa Drive. If your child is in 3rd through 5th grade, their classes are held in the Science Wing. 6th through 9th graders have classes in the Applied Technology Center.

Absences

Please let us know if your youth will be absent from a camp day. Please see the office contact information above.

Parents Night

Each week we will host a parent's night at the end of the camp.  We welcome you to come and see what your youth has been doing all week at camp.  Plan to arrive at 3:30pm on Friday and we will be finished by 4:30pm.

What to Wear to Camp Everyday

  • Camp t-shirt
  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Socks
  • Sunscreen - although we are inside most of the day, it is still important to put sunscreen on before you get to camp. We will still be outside during our morning ceremony, lunch and our afternoon closing ceremony.

What to Bring to Camp Everyday

  1. Backpack or bag for holding their stuff
  2. Lunch in a marked sack or plastic bag (large ziplocs work well). Lunches will be kept refrigerated until lunch time.  We must fit everyone's lunch in, so please do not sent large or bulky lunch boxes/bags.
  3. Water Bottle - We will have plenty of opportunities to refill water bottles as needed throughout the day.
  4. Medication needed for the day, to be turned into the camp medic. Medication must be in the original containers, and you must have filled in the section of the Part B Medical Form approving administration of the medication.
  5. If you want, you may buy snacks or drinks from the Food Truck on site.

Please note: Label everything that you want your child to come home with!  Lost and found will be in the camp office (information about camp office above).

What NOT to Bring to Camp

  • Electronic games, radios, headphones, mp3 players, etc.
  • Your youth may have a cell phone with them, but it should stay in their backpack during camp sessions
  • Glass containers
  • Knives, firearms, slingshots, matches, fireworks, water guns or rocket engines.
  • Valuables
